Austin Britton

Professor of Old Testament

Austin Britton currently serves as a pastor at Calvary Orthodox Presbyterian Church in La Mirada, California. As a pastor, professor Britton has a passion to preach Christ and him crucified week in and week out, and he looks forward to seeing God’s people grow in grace and in number as the Holy Spirit works in and through the means of grace.

Professor Britton’s hope is that the light of the gospel would shine brightly in southern California, and that many would take up their cross and follow after the Savior.

He and his wife Rebecca have three kids Isaiah (8 yrs. old), Alethea (6 yrs. old), and Micaiah (3 yrs. old). As a family, the Brittons great collective hobby is simply spending time with one another by taking hikes, going to parks, swimming, and using their imagination to create fun games around the home.

So, you want to know one interesting fact about our professor: He grew up in a very musical family, and before pursuing ministry, he played in various musical groups as a saxophonist, guitarist, drummer, and bass player.
